Shawna Melton, Esq.
About
Shawna was first hired as an intern at O’Connor Law Group in 2009, and then shortly after was brought on as an associate. Since that time, she has developed remarkable skills as a litigator, combining her knowledge of the law with an instinctual ability to think on her feet.
In April 2018, Shawna branched out on her own, forming her own litigation firm before rejoining O’Connor Law Group in August 2023. For the entirety of her career, Shawna has focused her efforts on defending and advancing consumer rights. She has extensive experience in all facets of litigation, working as lead counsel at numerous trials and arbitrations. She excels at conducting high-level depositions of technical experts and corporate representatives, as well as supervising complex discovery campaigns against corporate defendants. She works tirelessly to get results for her clients.
In her free time, Shawna enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, volunteering within her community, and playing with her two dogs.
